Milling Frolic

As part of the Gaelic programming and tied in with the Naked Craft exhibition at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, every child at Waverley Memorial Elementary School wove a section of an infinity blanket that was “waulked” at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia this morning. It was a lot of work but a beautiful woolen cloth was created by these little hands and it will be a permanent installation at our school. So great to be a part of this wonderful community art project. Will post a pic when it’s installed.

Enjoy!
