Posting for Re-writes on Visual Arts Nova Scotia page

The following write-up was recently posted by Visual Arts Nova Scotia for my upcoming rewrites show:

Re-Writes is an intriguing new exhibition of work by Waverley artist Kim Milan. Characterized by her love of portraiture and her keen observations of people, each subject is exquisitely rendered on up-scaled or recycled newspaper to produce a work that combines human emotion with the underlying textual connection to tell a story. While living in Montreal Kim gained a vast appreciation for street art and this is reflected in the somewhat graffiti feel to the work. It is gritty, urban and socially relevant; yet captures that ephemeral moment of introspection felt by us all. Showing September 6th-September 30th Paperchase Café 5228 Blowers St. Opening Reception; September 6th 6-9 PM Additional Information can be found by visiting:
