Ich Bin Ein Berliner (before and after)

Ich Bin Ein Berliner (I am a Berliner) from Kennedy’s famous speech in Berlin. If you look closely at the jaw line in this portrait you see the English text “We Are Family”on this otherwise German newspaper. This and the American flag graphic on the sheet echo the sentiment from Kennedy’s speech in showing American support for West Berlin. Also serendipitously I noticed the text “Kennedy” (very last piece of text in the topmost sentence on this paper) when I was almost finished the piece.

Enjoy!
