“Burgher”

Proving that inspiration can come from the strangest places. “Burgher” – an interpretation of Rodin’s statue of Pierre de Wissant, one of the 6 Burghers of Calais. In addition to the obvious play on words in this piece, there is also the compass rose and ship which is fitting for the port town of Calais.

Enjoy!
